King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) yesterday handed over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's gift to the Maldives, which included 50 tons of dates. The gift was handed over to the Maldivian side by the Saudi Ambassador to the Maldives, Matrek bin Abdullah Al-Ajalin Al-Dosari, in the presence of the Maldivian Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Ahmed Zahir Ali, and Minister of State for Affairs Islamic Mohamed Aneel, and a team from KSrelief, in Malé, the capital of the Maldives. The Maldivian Minister of Islamic Affairs thanked the Saudi government for this gift, stressing that this reflects the depth of the ties that unite the two countries and supports the course of their distinguished bilateral relations. The gift comes within the Center's programs offered by the Kingdom to several countries around the world.
