The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States Dr. Naif Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf welcomed the swearing-in by Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, and the Council's members: Sultan Ali Al-Arada, Tariq Mohammed Saleh, Abdurrahman Abu Zara'a, Abdullah Al-Alimi Bawazeer, Othman Hussein Majali, Aidaros Qassem Al-Zubaidi and Faraj Salmin Al-Bahsani before the Parliament in its session held yesterday, (Tuesday) in the temporary capital of Aden, headed by its Speaker, Sheikh Sultan Al-Barakani and in the presence of heads and members of the Councils of Ministers, Shura, Supreme Judiciary, Supreme Elections Committee and Military Affairs Committee. Dr. Al-Hajraf congratulated the President and members of the Presidential Leadership Council on taking the oath and the launch of an important historical stage, stressing the support of the GCC to the Presidential Leadership Council to enable it to exercise its duties in everything that would achieve security and stability in the Republic of Yemen and end the Yemeni crisis so that the fraternal Yemeni people enjoy prosperity, development and peace. He also wished the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council headed by Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi and its members all success in carrying out its national responsibilities to achieve security and stability in Yemen and to serve its people.
