Yemen's President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi established on Thursday a presidential leadership council. Hadi also issued an order relieving Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmar from his post as vice president. The President transferred his powers to newly established presidential leadership council, the official Saba news agency reported. The new body will assume the duties of both the president and his deputy. Yemen's information minister Moammer Al-Eryani said that the new council would temporarily be in charge of Yemen's political, military, and security sectors during the transition period. The council will adopt a balanced foreign policy that serves the interests of the Yemeni state, which secures independence and sovereignty of the country and its borders, Al-Eryani added. Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi has been appointed as the head of the newly established presidential leadership council and the following seven council members: 1- Sultan Ali Al-Arada 2- Tariq Mohammed Saleh 3- Abdulrahman Abu Zara'a 4- Abdullah Bawazeer 5- Othman Hussein Megally 6- Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi 7- Faraj Salmin Al-Bahsani (Developing)
