Following the ritual of standing on and around Arafat mountain from early morning until sunset on Wednesday, pilgrims started to descend towards Muzdalifa valley to stay the night there before heading at dawn towards Mina and Makkah again. The Nafra or pilgrims' third major movement from Arafat to Muzdalifa was successfully done, thanks to the fine arrangements by traffic police, security men and other governmental departments taking part in the service of pilgrims. Meanwhile, great efforts were being made to receive the waves of pilgrims rushing at one time to Muzdalifa, a transit point en route to Mina and Makkah. By now, all pilgrims who attended Arafat today are considered to have performed Hajj as the standing on and around Arafat is Hajj's peak ritual.
