The Saudi teams have finished participating in the third West Asian Paralympic Games - hosted by Bahrain for eight days - by winning 46 different medals. The last day of the tournament witnessed the achievement of six medals (4 silver and 2 bronze). The silvers were won by athletes Hani Al-Nakhli in the F33 discus throw, Radi Al-Harthy in the F51 discus throw, and Mukhtar Al-Dawa in the F13 shot put, while the wheelchair basketball team scored the fourth silver after beating Bahrain 63 to 39. Khaled Al-Ahmari bagged bronze in the F34 discus throw, while Saeed Hawsawi won bronze in the 88th weightlifting competition. The President of the Bahraini Paralympic Committee, Sheikh Mohammed bin Daij Al-Khalifa, the President of the Kuwaiti Paralympic Committee Nasser Al-Ajmi, the CEO of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, and the Deputy Head of the Saudi delegation, Abdulaziz Al-Enezi, crowned the top three winners in wheelchair basketball competitions at the Khalifa Sports City Hall.
