President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej inaugurated today the annual security audit program for the year 2022, starting from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. The inauguration was in the presence of the Executive Vice President for Aviation Security and Business Continuity, Mohammed bin Saad Al-Fawzan, the CEO of Riyadh Airports Company, Eng. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Maghlouth and a number of aviation security inspectors and government security officials working at the airport. The inauguration comes with the aim of measuring the compliance of agencies operating at airports with the provisions of the National Civil Aviation Security Program to achieve the highest levels of security, as well as closely familiarizing themselves with the work and oversight tasks of aviation security inspectors and their effective role in measuring performance and raising the level of security at airports. During his visit, the GACA President was briefed on the mechanism of the security inspection work at the security check point that workers go through and the procedures that are taken in accordance with the application of the best international standards. Abdulaziz Al-Duailej explained that the purpose of the visit was to see the role of the audit point and its control and security tasks and to motivate the aviation security inspectors and highlight their effective role in measuring performance and raising the level of security at airports. He praised the technical security development in all of the Kingdom's airports and the level of professional work of those in charge of it, which is certainly a joint work to raise the sense of security among all government agencies operating at airports with the aim of achieving the highest levels of security at all airports.
