HRC President Receives Deputy Director General of European External Action Service for MENA

Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad, President of the Human Rights Commission (HRC), received today Deputy Director General for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) at the European External Action Service Carl Hallergaard, in the presence of Patrick Simonnet, Ambassador of the EU Mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation in the field of human rights between the two sides, means of developing them as well as a number of issues of common interest.
Dr. Al-Awwad highlighted the efforts of the Kingdom's government and its keenness to protect human rights and the pioneering reforms that the Kingdom has adopted, in accordance with Vision 2030.
