King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Project (Masam) for clearing mines in Yemen, dismantled, during the fourth week of January 2022, a total of 3,233 mines planted by the Houthi militia across Yemen, including 101 anti-personnel mines, 2,302 anti-tank mines, 516 unexploded ordnance and 314 explosive devices. Since the beginning of the project, as many as 314,891 mines have been dismantled. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, seeks through the project to clear Yemeni lands of the mines that were randomly planted by the Houthi militia causing death and injury of innocent children, women, and the elderly.
