The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) forecasted the weather for today in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as thunderstorms on eastern, central and southwest regions, as well as some parts of western region and the eastern of Northern Borders region, along with Hail region, accompanied by active surface wind, while the fog will be seen early morning on Jazzan, Asir, Baha, Makkah (Taif), Madinah, Buraidah and Hail heights and some western parts of Riyadh region (Dawadmi). In its report, the NCM stated that the surface wind movement along the Red Sea will be northerly to northwesterly on northern and central parts at a speed of 15-35 km/h and southeasterly to southwesterly on southern part at a speed of 25-50 km/h, while the surface wind movement on the Arabian Gulf will be northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 20-40 km/h, turning gradually easterly to southeasterly at speed of 10-30 km/h.
