The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) foretasted the weather for today in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as dust storms on the regions of Northern borders, Jouf, Riyadh, Eastern, Qassim, Hail and eastern parts of Makkah and Madinah, along with high maximum temperature on central, eastern and western parts, while thunderstorms are forecasted on some parts of Jouf and Northern borders regions. In its report, the NCM stated that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea is northerly to northwesterly at a speed of 20-42 km/h on northern and central parts and southeasterly to southwesterly on southern part at a speed of 18-40 km/h, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf is southwesterly to southeasterly at speed of 18-38 km/h.
