The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) forecasted the weather for today in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as moderate to torrential thunderstorms on Buraidah and Hail regions and some western parts of Riyadh, Makkah and Madinah regions, while thunderstorms on Jawf, Northern Borders and Tabuk regions, as well as some northern parts of Eastern regions and the fog will be seen in early morning on Jazzan, Asir, Baha, Makkah and Taif heights. In its report, the NCM stated that the surface wind movement along the Red Sea will be northerly to northwesterly on northern and central parts at a speed of 20-40 km/h and southeasterly to southwesterly on southern part at a speed of 25-45 km/h, while the surface wind movement on the Arabian Gulf will be northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 20-40 km/h.
