The Saudi Vision 2030 has placed much attention to voluntary work and placed it among its priorities with the aim of its development, increasing its efficiency, raising awareness on its importance and providing a supportive environment through contributing to reaching one million volunteers. King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), out of its responsibilities towards humanitarian work, seeks to realizing Saudi Vision 2030 targets through implementing several initiatives and programs that are concerned with the voluntary work, attracting volunteers and training them to participate in humanitarian and aid actions that KSrelief conducts around the world. Among the top of these initiatives is Advisor at the Royal Court and KSrelief Supervisor General Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah's inauguration of the Saudi gate for foreign volunteerism, through which volunteers can register to take part in the center's humanitarian works, where more than 15,000 people have registered so far. As part of its efforts to support voluntary work, KSrelief implements a variety of volunteer humanitarian program in several beneficiary countries with the participation of specialized Saudi staff in all fields, where the center so far has implemented more than 170 voluntary programs in the medical, educational and training fields, among others, benefiting more than 378,000 people around the world in 21 countries, including Yemen, Sudan, Senegal, Mauritania, Nigeria, Cameron, Morocco, Gabon, Congo, Eretria, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Djibouti, Tanzania, Niger, and Comoros, in addition to the Jordan-hosted Al-Zaatari Camp for Syrian Refugees, with a cost of more than US$41 million. KSrelief annually commemorates the International Volunteer Day, which is marked on December 5, as part of its appreciation for volunteers' efforts and sacrifices in the field and in a bid to enhance the noble humanitarian action as part of KSrelief's intensive efforts to support voluntary work. Those willing to volunteer with KSrelief can visit https://volunteer.ksrelief.org/, where participants will be chosen according to certain terms and conditions that suit the nature of programs implemented by the center.
