King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), in cooperation with the Muslim World League, concluded yesterday its voluntary medical campaign for open heart surgery and catheterization in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania for the year 2021. During the campaign, the volunteer medical team performed 33 open heart surgeries and 50 catheterization surgeries successfully. Voluntary campaigns implemented by KSrelief in various countries come due to its efforts to attract volunteers and qualify them to participate in relief and humanitarian work, emanating from its responsibility towards humanitarian work, and to achieve the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030 for reaching one million volunteers.
