Jeddah-based International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA) signed here today a strategic cooperation agreement with the University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. The agreement aims at building a strategic partnership in the field of mutual benefit from the scientific and research capabilities and potential of the two institutions and jointly studying of contemporary calamities and issues in order to guide and rationalize them in more better way, in addition to the joint organization of conferences, seminars, workshops and training. In implementation of the terms of the agreement, a specialized committee will be formed to determine aspects of cooperation between the two institutions. The agreement was signed by Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, IIFA Secretary-General with Dr. Hamid Majoul Al-Nuaimi, Sharjah University's Director at the university's headquarters in the Emirate of Sharjah. On the occasion, Dr. Sano hailed the agreement as an opportunity to attract researchers from the various colleges and institutes of Sharjah University to participate in the IIFA sessions, seminars and conferences.
