A number of officials and members of the Shura Council have stressed the great importance of the conference of International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA) at its 23rd session being held in Madinah and organized by IIFA in cooperation with the Islamic University in Madinah under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for presenting researches and studies derived from the Holy Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah to build a renaissance and a human civilization in accordance with a true Islamic approach showing the tolerance of this religion and its universality in dealing with developments, crises and calamities that concern the Islamic world. Officials and Academics have lauded in statements to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) the King's patronage of the conference, which emphasizes his keenness on the roles of scholars in enlightening the Islamic nation everywhere in world, clarifying the provisions of calamities and developments that concern them, highlighting the objectives of the Islamic Sharia and its ability to achieve human happiness along with addressing contemporary humanitarian problems according to its provisions and rules derived from its correct religious sources and achieving them for the interests of the nation.
