The Saudi medical team, currently performing a sensitive surgical operation to separate Polish Siamese twins, has successfully accomplished the remaining major phases of the more than 15 hour operation, surgeons taking part in the operation told the press here tonight. Following the end of Phases 5, 6, 7 and 8, Dr. Abdullah Alrabee'a, Executive Director General of the National Guard Health Affairs, told newsmen that by reaching this phase, the complete separation was accomplished successfully. He showed that the coming phases are finishing phases rather than essential ones. He said the 50-member medical team was faced by some difficulties while performing the separation of the reproductive and digestive systems. The two Siamese twins are undergoing the surgery at the expense of Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard.
