King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has concluded a project to combat blindness and its causes in the Republic of Senegal, which was implemented from 8 to 15 October 2021, in cooperation with the Muslim World League (MWL). During the campaign, the volunteer medical team examined 3,500 beneficiaries, performed 358 operations to remove cataract, and distributed 950 eyeglasses. This campaign comes as part of the projects related to combat blindness being implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, for the families with low incomes in a number of countries.
