Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Bilad Newspaper reported in its editorial that the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia continues committing war crimes against the Yemeni people, targeting civilians and civilians objects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with booby-trapped) drones and missiles, in addition to threatening maritime navigation. Among these bloody crimes against Yemeni people was the terrorist attack on Al-Anad military base in the Yemeni governorate of Lahj, the paper said. In this regard, Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned the terrorist Houthi militia's attack, affirming its stand and full solidarity with the Republic of Yemen, the paper added. Saudi Arabia has reiterated its position and calling for stopping the continued flow of weapons to the Houthi terrorist militia and preventing their export to Yemen the paper further added . Saudi Arabia affirmed its firm position in supporting the Yemeni people and its legitimate government in reaching a comprehensive political solution to the crisis in a way that guarantees the achievement of security, stability and prosperity for Yemen and its people the paper concluded. Al Eqtisadiah Newspaper reported in its editorial that in light of the current circumstances facing the economy in a number of countries, Saudi Arabia's Trade Balance recorded last June a surplus worth SAR 38.69 billion, which is the highest in 17 months. Saudi Arabia's Trade Balance has increased since the beginning of the year to SAR 170.7 billion, indicating the strength of the Saudi economy and that the growth wheel has returned at a high pace, the paper said. This is due to the wise economic plans under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the paper added. Hence, the policy of economic diversification is one of the strategic goals adopted by the Saudi Vision 2030, in order to support economic development plans, the paper concluded. Al-Yaum and Al-Riyadh Newspapers reported in their editorials that the growth of non-oil exports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has achieved the goals of its vision 2030 and the aspirations of the wise leadership towards diversifying the sources of income for the national economy. This confirms and enhances the strength of the national economy and the Kingdom's leading position among the rest of the world, the papers said. Last June, Saudi non-oil exports recorded the highest monthly number in the history of non-oil exports, amounting to SAR 23.5 billion, as this number exceeded 20 billion in the months of March, April and May consecutively for the first time, the papers added.
