The Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Sawaha met here today with the Minister of Communications and Information Technology of Yemen Dr. Najeeb Mansour Auj, in the presence of the Governor of Communications and Information Technology Commission Dr. Mohammad Al-Tamimi, and Deputy Chief of Yemeni Diplomatic Mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdulmalik Al-Eryani. During the meeting, they discussed opportunities of cooperation and partnership available for the communications and information technology systems in the two countries, assigned to contribute to raising the efficiency of the Yemeni communications and information technology sector and increasing its level of effectiveness to benefit from the opportunities of the digital economy. The two sides also discussed ways of cooperation in areas of digital infrastructure, legislation and regulation in communications, mail and logistics services, to benefit from the pioneering position reached by Saudi Arabia in the field of communications and information technology to serve the digital economy in Yemen.
