Minister of Communications and Information Technology Engineer Abdullah bin Amer Al-Sawaha inaugurated yesterday Deloitte Digital Solutions Center, the first of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa. The Center supports the development of innovative digital solutions for the public and private sectors, as well as the creation of quality employment opportunities for national digital cadres, being a gateway to provide digital consultancy services across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Middle East. In its next phase, the center aims to qualify 200 Saudi digital cadres, in addition to its work on developing national human capabilities through special programs including scholarship and training, and work to improve consultancy services in this area. It will also support the Kingdom's efforts to build a digital economy and stimulate an innovative digital society. The inauguration of this center is in line with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology strategy recently launched by the Ministry, paving the way for attracting more technical investments in the Kingdom, which will be accompanied by a growth in the number of quality jobs for the sector, in addition to supporting the Ministry's efforts in developing the digital capabilities of Saudi youth.
