Arab ministers for communications and information held virtually here today their ordinary 24th session under the chairmanship of Egypt's minister of communications and information technology Dr. Amro Talaat. Addressing the meeting, Saudi minister of communications and Information technology Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Sawaha, former rotatory chairman of the group, wished his successor every success, congratulating him on the occasion of transferring the Arab digital capital 2020 from Riyadh to Cairo, the new administrative digital capital 2021. The meeting discussed the issues on its agenda, including the impacts of coronavirus on the activities of the group, cyber security issues, crime and terror combating on the internet and Arab joint cooperation with African groups and organizations.
