King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has continued implementing the 2021 voluntary medical campaign to combat blindness and its causes in Aden, Yemen. Since the launch of the campaign, KSrelief's medical team examined 309 eye patients, performed 286 eye surgeries, provided 286 glasses and dispensed 286 prescriptions, benefitting families and individuals of limited income who can not afford treatment costs. The campaign falls within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's projects, being implemented through KSrelief, to combat blindness in Yemen. The number of these projects amounted to six projects aimed at performing more than 2,400 eye surgeries to combat blindness.
