King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has concluded implementing the voluntary medical campaign to combat blindness and its causes in Kano, the Federal Republic of Nigeria. During the period of 22-29 June 2021, KSrelief's medical team examined 3,129 eye patients, performed 400 eye surgeries, dispensed 2,665 prescriptions and provided 1,075 glasses, benefitting families and individuals of limited income who can not afford treatment costs. This comes as a part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's humanitarian efforts, represented by KSrelief, aiming to provide, in cooperation with the Al-Basar International Foundation, the necessary medical care for individuals who suffer from eye diseases in a number of countries.
