King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) launched the voluntary medical program of cardiac catheterization for children in the Republic of Senegal during the period 28-22 May 2021, in cooperation with the Muslim World League (MWL). At the beginning of the campaign, the volunteer medical team visited the general hospital in Senegal for catheterization operations and was briefed on the necessary equipment, devices and patient preparation procedures Since the launch, the team has conducted 11 therapeutic cardiac catheterizations for children, while 50 catheter surgeries will be conducted in cardiac catheterization for children of families with limited income.
