The voluntary medical campaign for adult cardiac catheterization of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) began in the Republic of Niger today in partnership with the International Association for Relief, Care and Development of the Muslim World League (MWL). The volunteer cardiologists of KSrelief began work on the first day, performing 12 successful interventional catheterization for the most needy patients. The eight-day campaign targets nearly 60 cardiac catheterization operations for patients from low-income families who are unable to cover the costs of treatment, to alleviate their pain and suffering.
