The Acting Minister of Media and the Chairman of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi graced the former President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein, on the occasion of his retirement, in the presence of the Acting President of the SPA Dr. Fahad bin Hassan Al-Agran and a number of officials and the SPA staff. At the outset, Al-Agran addressed the audience, welcoming the minister and Al-Hussein. Al Agran, on behalf of the SPA family and in his own name extended thanks, gratitude and appreciation to Al-Hussein for the long career lasting for as many as 40 years, in the domain of media. Then, the minister delivered a speech praising the role played by Al-Hussein and the works he provided the media with, through the decades, especially the SPA, reiterating thanks and appreciation to him and wishing him good luck. Al-Hussein was the last to address the audience, namely the minister, thanking the minister for being keen on gracing him as well as the current acting president of the SPA, and he retrospectively shed light on his career, as he started as an editor in the SPA, in 1402 AH, until he left its presidency post. The ceremony included presenting a film on the career of Abdullah Al-Hussein and a thanking speech from his family. At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Al-Qasabi handed a souvenir over to Al-Hussein, in grace of him and his plentiful career achievements, before the ceremony was concluded with a photo-call.
