President George W. Bush will meet with King Abdullah of Jordan in Washington next week to discuss "developments in the Middle East and key bilateral issues," the White House announced today. At the December 6 White House meeting, Bush "looks forward to the opportunity to review regional and bilateral issues with the King of Jordan, who plays a key role in the search for stability in Iraq and for Middle East peace, and has been a staunch ally in the international fight against terrorism," the White House said.
