Khatami Receives Prince Naif

Iranian President Mohammed Khatami received here today Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Interior Minister, and other interior ministers of the countries neighboring Iraq.
Prince Naif conveyed to the Iranian President the greetings of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard.
Prince Naif expressed appreciation for hosting the meeting of the interior ministers of the countries neighbouring Iraq by Iran, and underlined the importance of helping Iraq in these difficult circumstances.
Meanwhile, Prince Naif welcomed the proposal of the Turkish Interior Minister to hold the second meeting for the interior ministers in Turkey.
