President of the Arab Parliament Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoumi welcomed the European-US statement denouncing the Houthi terrorist militia's attacks, on civilian objects, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the civilians in Marib Governorate, Yemen, and demanding the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia to immediately stop its repeated attacks, which aggravated the difficult humanitarian situation, in Marib, that provides shelter for more than 2 million people, most of them are displaced. In a statement announced today, Al-Asoumi called for building upon the European-US joint stance to reach a resolute and deterring international stance, putting an end to the ongoing violations committed by the Houthi coup militia, stressing the necessity of the international community's shift, especially the UN Security Council, from the stage of denunciation, condemnation and disapproval to taking deterring stances to protect civilians against the continuous targeting. The President of the Arab Parliament reiterated the firm stance of the parliament on supporting all measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Yemen to confront the Houthi coup militia and stop its continuing terrorist crimes.
