Saudi Press: Terrorist Attacks Constitute a Threat to Innocent Civilians and Aggression on Global Energy Security
Published in Saudi Press Agency on 13 - 03 - 2021

Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.
Al-Yaum and Al-Bilad newspapers reported in their editorials that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has affirmed that the heinous terrorist attacks being carried out by Iran-backed militias constitute a threat to innocent civilians and aggression on global energy security.
Saudi Arabia has continued its humanitarian and relief efforts, along with supporting the ways to find way out of the crisis in Yemen, according to the basic references, the papers said.
The Iranian regime supports terrorist entities and militias, in order to destabilize the security and stability of the region, and threaten the international community, in general, and the global economy, in particular, the papers further said .
In this regard, the governments of France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States of America have expressed their condemnation of the continued Houthi attack on the Yemeni city of Marib, and the major escalation of the attacks being launched by the Houthis against Saudi Arabia, affirming that the Houthi attack on Marib exacerbates the acute humanitarian crisis being faced by the Yemeni citizens, the papers added .
They affirmed in their joint statement that they renewed diplomatic efforts to end the Yemen conflict, along with support of the UN Special Envoy, in addition to support being provided by Saudi Arabia, Oman and the international community as well, offer the best hope for ending this war, urging the Houthis to seize this opportunity for peace and end the ongoing escalation, the papers further added.
They reiterated their firm commitment to the security and integrity of Saudi territory and to restoring stability and calm along the Saudi/Yemeni border, reaffirming their strong support for a swift resolution of the Yemeni conflict, which will bring much-needed stability to the region and immediate benefit to the people of Yemen, the papers concluded.
