Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf condemned today the terrorist attack by Houthi militia that targeted Abha International Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Al-Hajraf affirmed that the attack launched by the Houthi militia is a cowardly terrorist attack and a war crime that endanger the lives of civilians, which requires accountability of terrorists in accordance with international humanitarian law. He lauded the vigilance and efficiency of the Forces of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, citing their success in controlling the fire that affected a civilian plane at the airport. He affirmed the solidarity and stand of the GCC with the Kingdom in all measures it takes to defend its territories and preserve the safety of its citizens and residents.
