The US Department of State spokesperson Ned Price said in a statement; "We call on the Houthis to immediately cease attacks impacting civilian areas inside Saudi Arabia and to halt any new military offensives inside Yemen, which only bring more suffering to the Yemeni people." "We urge the Houthis to refrain from destabilizing actions and demonstrate their commitment to constructively engage in UN Special Envoy Griffiths' efforts to achieve peace. The time is now to find an end to this conflict", the statement added. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia's regional allies have strongly condemned the launch of an explosive-laden drone by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia against the southern region of the Kingdom. In a statement, Bahrain's foreign ministry praised the vigilance of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen that managed to intercept and destroy the drone. It noted that these terrorist acts represent a flagrant violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty. It also stressed Bahrain's solidarity with the Kingdom in all measures taken against attempts to target its security and the safety of its citizens and residents. Egypt condemned the Houthi militia's continued drone attacks targeting Saudi Arabia. In a statement issued on Sunday, the Egyptian foreign ministry affirmed Egypt's support for Saudi Arabia in all measures the Kingdom takes to deal with these hostilities and to preserve its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. Egypt expressed its disapproval of the continuation of such despicable terrorist acts that represent a threat to regional security and stability and a violation of the rules of international and humanitarian law. Jordan also denounced the Houthi attacks. The spokesman of the Jordanian foreign ministry, Dhaifallah Al-Fayez, affirmed that his country's support for Saudi Arabia against any threat to its security and stability. Al-Fayez affirmed that Jordan stands with Saudi Arabia, stressing that the security of the two countries is indivisible and that any threat to the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a threat to the security and stability of the entire region. Meanwhile, the Gulf Cooperation Council the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation also denounced the Houthi militia's unsuccessful attempt to target civilians and civilian objects in Saudi Arabia.
