Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper reported in its editorial that the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has addressed the Coronavirus pandemic in the most efficient manner, making human health and safety a top priority. In every stage of the virus' outbreak, the Kingdom has been setting examples in serious, fast and elaborate work. Saudi Arabia had took all necessary measures to protect community members from this pandemic, as it was appreciated by international organizations that saw that Saudi Arabia surpassed the first world countries in halting the pandemic. The newspaper pointed to the speech of the Minister of Health Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah where he said that we are reporting a significant and continuous increase in the number of coronavirus cases recently due to gatherings and neglecting preventative measures. The minister's speech affirmed that all difficulties in the upcoming stage can be overcome through commitment and cooperation which will contribute to supporting efforts exerted by all sectors to address the pandemic. The minister also affirmed that the second wave of the pandemic is not far away from here, nevertheless Saudi Arabia is able to surpass all obstacles if everyone is committed to precautionary measures. The newspaper concluded that Saudi Arabia did not hesitate for a single moment to launch a campaign that included all regions, in which it called for full adherence to precautionary measures to preserve the gains accomplished in addressing the pandemic. Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial that all things that the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques provides to visitors and non-Saudi residents, in terms of care and protecting the human soul from the Coronavirus, reflect a firm approach in Saudi Arabia's strategies since the era of the late founder until this glorious era. In the same regard, the General Directorate of Passports, in cooperation with the National Information Center, has allowed citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States, dependents and visitors holding the Tourist Visa to benefit from the e-services, being provided by the Ministry of Interior through the Absher platform, the paper added. These aforementioned data are evidences of the care and attention paid to the residents of this blessed land. Today, we are facing an integrated image of harnessing technology to achieve Saudi Arabia's goals and ambitions, not only to overcome the emerging Coronavirus pandemic, but also to meet the horizons of Vision 2030, the newspaper concluded.
