Stocks up in Frankfurt, euro steady against dollar =

Share prices were higher on Frankfurt's big board Tuesday, with the DAX up 0.1 per cent to 4139 points.
The mid-range MDAX similarly was up 0.1 per cent to 5212 points, while the TecDAX tech-shares listing dipped 0.1 per cent to 515.73.
The euro began trading in Frankfurt Tuesday at 1.2943 dollars, compared to Monday's European Central Bank (ECB) fixing of 1.2955.
That made the greenback equivalent to 77.22 euro cents. --SP 1231 Local Time 0931 GMT
