His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, affirmed the depth and strength of relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Bahrain, extending for very long years. This came during his speech at the first meeting of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council, which was virtually held under co-chairmanship of HRH the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain. At the outset of his speech, HRH the Crown Prince congratulated the Crown Prince of Bahrain, on his appointment as Prime Minister, wishing him all success to proceed with his previous efforts exerted to achieve Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 in order to build a better life for the Bahraini brotherly people. HRH the Crown Prince paid tribute at the establishment of this council, attaching great hopes on it as regards its forthcoming effective and fruitful contribution to strengthen the bonds of relationship and brotherhood between the two brotherly countries. His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman pointed out that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain are greatly keen to push bilateral relations to more comprehensive horizons, adding that the relations will be developed under the umbrella of this council for consolidating cooperation in all fields between the two countries in accordance with regular and sustainable institutional work in the political, economic, security, military, investment, developmental and cultural fields in order to achieve common interests. HRH the Crown Prince affirmed that the prudent directives of the two leaderships have resulted in fruitful outcomes at all levels, expressing satisfaction for the close coordination between the two countries with regard to regional and international issues addressing the challenges facing the region at large as well as maintaining the interests, security and stability of the two countries in particular. HRH the Crown Prince expressed confidence that this meeting, in which the organizational procedures for the work of the council will be laid down, is set to pave the way for the relevant sub-committees to submit their outcomes in the upcoming meetings, thanking the Crown Prince of Bahrain and the council's members for the good preparation for this meeting.
