Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Okaz newspaper reported in its editorial that the announcement by the Minister of Health Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah citing that the Kingdom is still controlling the Coronavirus (COVID-19) with a decrease in the numbers of infections, comes as a result of the unlimited support from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and HRH Crown Prince. It also comes as a result of the awareness and commitment of society, to emphasize the successes achieved to confront the pandemic, and to place the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the forefront of the world's safest countries. The paper concluded, in order to keep the number of Coronavirus infections at a low level, it is required for citizens and residents to keep applying precautionary and preventive measures announced by the Ministry of Health and the relevant authorities. In another context, Al-Riyadh newspaper reported in its editorial that the Iranian regime continues with its evil trends that cause chaos, as this rebellious and arrogant behavior affects its neighbors. The newspaper added that this regime is still continuing to incite, mobilize and conspire against everyone. Despite the vigilance of our guards in repelling and preventing any aggression or damage to Saudi Arabia's borders, the repetition of these attempts proves that this theocratic and reckless regime will not be deterred unless the sanctions are more deterrent and effective. The stability and peace will not be reached if the international position is not united. The newspaper concluded that in light of the Coronavirus pandemic and the world's efforts to confront this pandemic, we find the Iranian regime continues its aggressions and threats.
