Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper reported in its editorial that since the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has provided the private sector and investors with unlimited and unremitting support. The paper said that Saudi Arabia supported the private sector to remain strong in the face of challenges in order to continue the march of development and prosperity that the country has made within the goals of its Vision 2030. The paper further added that Saudi Arabia issued a whole slew of initiatives that amounted SAR 120 billion allocated to confront COVID-19 pandemic across the country. The paper concluded that the initiatives included exemption of private sector's institutions and companies from government fees, provided them with more free services, in addition to additional amount of SAR 50 billion for exemption and payment of private sector dues. In another context, Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is making intensive preparations with an integrated coordination for holding of G20 summit under chairmanship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The paper added that the summit will be held virtually on November 21 and 22, in light of the global conditions caused by Coronavirus pandemic and the extraordinary repercussions and challenges that the world is witnessing. The paper further added that Saudi Arabia has successfully achieved an effective international will to confront the pandemic since its outbreak, and it affirmed its keenness on its major responsibilities at the international level to save humanity and the global economy from and dangers of the pandemic.
