General Prosecutor of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al-Mejeb underscored the importance of finding solutions to narrow chances of joint investigations among the world countries as regards trans-border corruption cases. Addressing the first ministerial meeting of the corruption combating engagement group of the G20 which was held in the attendance of a number of anti-corruption agencies of the G20, Al-Mejeb said that the informal cooperation between law enforcement and investigation and criminal prosecution agencies is still below the internationally-targeted level amid the presence of more than 100 countries of the world who don't participate in any international platform dealing with informal cooperation in this matter. He underscored the importance of voluntary exchange of information among the corruption combating authorities and general prosecutors on proactive bases. He called on the G20 member states to adopt an open dialogue to discuss and share experience in this field, without tampering the sovereignty and domestic regulations of any.
