A conference on the Red Sea, organized by the Arab Studies Association, an affiliate of the University of Durham, in collaboration with the British National Museum, started in London today. Dr. Abdulaziz Abu-Zinadah, the Secretary General of the Saudi National Commission for the Protection of Wild Life and its Development, presented a key paper to the two-day event. He cast light on the role of the commission in the protection of environment in the Kingdom, attributing his assumptions to instructions of Islam.
