A strong earthquake shook southwestern
China on Tuesday, injuring five people and damaging about
20,000 homes, the official Xinhua News Agency reported.
The magnitude-5 quake struck at 6:11 a.m. (2211 GMT
Monday) in the densely populated city of Baoshan in Yunnan
province, the agency said.
