The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has welcomed on Wednesday, Saudi Arabia's efforts that produced "positive" developments and contributed to resuming implementation of the Riyadh Agreement, signed between the Yemeni government and the Southern Transitional Council (STC). The ministry lauded as an "important" step the progress made to strike ceasefire, end escalation, push peacemaking, achieve Yemen's security and stability and support the path of a political solution aimed at solving the country's crisis. In a press statement, the ministry also lauded UAE's efforts to resume implementation of the Riyadh Agreement and flexibility demonstrated by the legitimate Yemeni government and the STC to accelerate steps aimed to solve the crisis politically, and bring security, peace and stability to Yemen and the region, which would shun Yemenis more human and economic suffering.
