Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, has sent cables of congratulation to a number of sultans, kings, emirs and heads of state of Arab and Islamic countries on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. They were to Sultans of Brunei Darussalam and Oman; kings of Jordan, Bahrain, Malaysia and Morocco; Emirs of Qatar and Kuwait; and presidents of Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Iran, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Chad, Tunisia, Gabon, Algeria, Djibouti, Senegal, Sudan, Syria, Sierra Leone, Tajikistan, Gambia, Guinea, Palestine, United Comoro, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, the Maldives, Mali, Egypt, Mauritania, Niger and Yemen. In his cables the crown prince wished the leaders of those countries continuous health and happiness and their peoples steady progress and prosperity.
