The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz, has sent cables of congratulation to a number of sultans, kings, emirs and heads of state of Arab and Islamic countries on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. They were to Sultans of Brunei Darussalam and Oman; kings of Jordan, Bahrain, Malaysia and Morocco; Emirs of Qatar and Kuwait; and presidents of Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Iran, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Chad, Tunisia, Gabon, Algeria, Djibouti, Senegal, Sudan, Syria, Sierra Leone, Tajikistan, Gambia, Guinea, Palestine, United Comoro, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, the Maldives, Mali, Egypt, Mauritania, Niger and Yemen. In his own name and on behalf of the people and government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, King Fahd wished, in his cables, the leaders of those countries continuous health and happiness and their peoples steady progress and prosperity.
