Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues, at local, regional, and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom's vision 2030 focused on all means of localizing jobs that lead to increase the rate of citizens employment in private sector. The paper pointed out that the efforts over the past few years have yielded success, as resulted in a decrease of unemployment rate during the first quarter of this year to 11.8 percent. This achievement came after a series of successive declines in unemployment rates, which peaked in 2018, reaching 12.9 percent, the paper said. The paper confirmed that the governmental strategic partnership with the private sector was a cause of progress in the unemployment file. The private sector has proven its ability to invest the national cadres and graduates from various disciplines to work in new job areas. The government's efforts to reduce the unemployment rate are continuing in its planned path until achieving the goal of the Kingdom's vision that targets 7 percent by 2030, the paper concluded. Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial that the Yemeni Prime Minister, Maeen Abdulmalik Saeed, confirmed the positive steps and tangible progress of implementing Riyadh agreement signed between the legitimate government and the Southern Transitional Council throughout intensive consultations sponsored by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The paper said that the Riyadh agreement aims to unify efforts to restore the state, end the coup, and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people caused by the Houthi coup. The paper stressed Saudi Arabia's active role in the efforts to achieve peace and the international community's rejection of the abuses practiced by Iran's arms.
