Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial entitled (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Its Interest in Developing Its Relations with Brothers and Friends) that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz's receiving of the credential papers of a number of ambassadors of brotherly and friendly countries yesterday reflected his interest in supporting the Kingdom's relations with those countries and develop them to serve the common interests in various fields. Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial entitled (Localization of Operation and Maintenance Sector) that the Government continues with all its agencies and institutions to implement its strategic plans to localize jobs of different sectors, and correct the conditions of the labor market, in align with the Kingdom's vision 2030 to provide more than 300 thousand sustainable jobs annually, and reduce the unemployment rate to 9% in 2020 and 7% in 2030, as the current unemployment rate reached 12.3% by the end of the second quarter of 2019. The paper added that the decision of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development to raise the percentage of localization of targeted jobs in the operation and maintenance contracts that operating in government sectors came to provide jobs for citizens in all cities and villages of the Kingdom.
