Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper said its editorial that the approval of the Saudi Cabinet to set organizational arrangements for the General Commission for Exhibitions and Conferences has reflected the role being played by the commission itself in developing the sector, raising its competitiveness and has confirmed at the same time, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's interest in the sector in achieving its strategic objectives, contributing to economic development, stimulating the tourism sector, and supporting the national economy as one of the sources of income in addition to creating more jobs and businesses and strengthening the KSA's status on the map of exhibitions and international conferences. The paper added that KSA's Vision 2030 has put main objectives for developing the exhibition and conference industry and the establishment of its regular and investment structure as such industry seen as a key supporter for many of vision' programs and initiatives to promote the Kingdom as a destination for attracting business, investment and tourism and to help Saudi companies to offering their exportable and competitive products in global markets. Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial that the prudent leadership in this great and generous country always spares no efforts to develop and modernize all the services for pilgrims starting from the foundation stages until this glorious era. The paper added that the new steps for improvement of services at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah as well as Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah come in the light of efforts being exerted by the Government and affiliated agencies at the end of each Hajj season for serving pilgrims to perform their Hajj rituals with ease and tranquility.
