A regional conference will be held in Amman on Dec 5, 2004. The conference, due to be attended by high-ranking officials, will review the possibility of launching an initiative for reforming governmental administrations in the Arab countries. A statement, issued here on Wednesday, said the participants of the 3-day conference will review studies and reports on the situation of institutions and organizations in the Arab countries for preparation of a working plan that leads to the development and reform of the governmental administrations. The conference will be held under the supervision of the Arab League and the Arab Organization for Administrative Sciences in cooperation with the Jordanian Ministry of Administrative Development.
