Mohammad Ali Initiative for World Peace Executive Director and Imam at the United Nations, a lecturer at Harvard University, Abdulmalik Mohammad praised the decision by the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its leadership to hold Hajj for this year with a limited number of different nationalities who are inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia due to COVID-19 pandemic. He said that this decision comes within the great and numerous efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia government led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for years to care for pilgrims and ensure their safety and the service of the Two Holy Mosques, and embodies Islamic Sharia, which is one of the purposes is self-preservation. Abdulmalik Mohammed stressed that the decision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques government regarding Hajj this year is an example of the government's awareness and the right decisions based on the recommendations of international health experts that would save human lives. He explained that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia receives annually large numbers of pilgrims, pointing out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has always been an example to be followed in organizing the Hajj season.
