Society of Ulama of Islam (Jami'at-i Ulama-i Islam) in Pakistan confirmed its support for the measures being taken by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to conduct Hajj for the current year 2020 in limited numbers for various nationalities already residing inside the Kingdom due to coronavirus pandemic. President of the Society, Sheikh Fadlur Rahman Mufti Mahmoud, said in a statement today this right procedure comes in line with the purposes of the Islamic Sharia's provisions to protect human lives and the safety of the pilgrims of the Grand Mosque from this epidemic. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince for the Kingdom's attention and care to the pilgrims and their health.
