Grand Mufti of Lebanon Abdullatif Deryan hailed the decision taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to hold this year's Hajj with only a limited number of pilgrims from various nationalities who already reside in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Grand Mufti said that the decision of the Saudi government reflects the Kingdom's keenness on the safety and health of pilgrims and visitors of the Prophet's Mosque, as the world experiencing Coronavirus pandemic. The Grand Mufti stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has the right to take all precautionary measures it deems appropriate to preserve the safety and health of pilgrims and Umrah performers.
